We’re celebrating the 20th edition of The Dutch PHP Conference

The 20th edition of The Dutch PHP Conference

This year, we are not just organizing another edition of The Dutch PHP Conference (DPC), but a special anniversary edition. The very first edition of DPC took place in 2007, and this year we are celebrating the 20th edition of The Dutch PHP Conference. What once started on a small scale with a few rooms in the RAI in Amsterdam has grown into a household name in the tech world.

The goal of DPC has always remained the same: we want to give something back to the PHP community for their dedication, commitment, and knowledge sharing. With the Dutch PHP Conference, we organize an event by and for you. Every year, the conference continued to grow, not only in terms of visitors but also in the number of sessions.

Dawn Conferences

Amsterdam has been our home base from day one. For years, the RAI in Amsterdam was the permanent location, but in 2020, COVID-19 forced us, as conference organizers, to reinvent ourselves. From that moment on, a physical conference was no longer possible for a number of years. Because we still wanted to bring the PHP community together worldwide, we organized our first online edition of DPC in 2020.

Our field of work is constantly evolving, and as an organization, we must continue to innovate. After several online versions of DPC, we were able to continue DPC at Pathe Noord in Amsterdam with the help of our sister conferences Webdevcon & Appdevcon.

In addition to organizational advantages, this also gives our visitors the opportunity to broaden their horizons. In addition to the tracks of The Dutch PHP Conference, you can now also join a session of Appdevcon or Webdevcon. This year we are organizing the 20th edition, the third year in this form.

A look back to the first edition in 2007.

A lot of familiar faces, whom we are delighted to welcome back to Amsterdam this year. We are grateful to welcome you all to the 20th edition of DPC! It is also wonderful to see new registrations coming in again this year and that we are still building the PHP community together. We hope to continue doing so for many years to come!

On to the next.
